Also, Deputy or Co-Safety Coordinators and Assistant Safety Coordinators are strongly encouraged to attend this training but are not required to do so. Pre-registration is required.

OUTSIDE TRAINING
SIDP Requirement: at least one Public Official or Administrative Staff Person and at least one Departmental Supervisor shall attend one FREE regional Loss Prevention Training listed below, although we hope persons from each department will attend. Additionally, Safety Coordinators are encouraged to stay for this training but are not required to do so and their attendance cannot substitute for the two (2) persons required to attend this training. Pre-registration is required.

OUTSIDE TRAINING
SIDP Requirement: at least two (2) Deputies shall attend one CRS-sponsored SIDP-approved Training between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024. The dates, locations and registration information will be posted when details have been finalized.
NOTE: Only CRS-sponsored Training will meet this SIDP requirement. This means no other Deputy Training, Skid Car Training, etc. will qualify.

OUTSIDE TRAINING
SIDP Requirement: At least two (2) Corrections Officers shall attend a minimum of three (3) of the CRS-sponsored Jail Training held between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024. Pre-registrations are required through the ACCA online registration system and pre-payment of the registration fees is due before the first day of each registered class. Any registration questions should be directed to [email protected] or by calling 334-394-3232 and selecting option #3 to reach the Member Services Help Desk for assistance.
NOTE: Only “CRS-sponsored Training” qualifies for this SIDP requirement. This means no other Corrections Officer/Jailer Training, Jail Management Training (JMT), Skid Car Training, etc. will qualify.
